I am excited to let you all know that Tarmin has signed a 3 year collaborative agreement with IBM that will see Tarmin GridBank play a key role in IBM’s evolving global unstructured data management strategy. Working with IBM and network of trusted partners in USA and Europe, we have set achievable and aggressive sales targets for the next three years signaling a mutually rewarding long term relationship. GridBank has been built for global organizations and with partners such as IBM aligning with us there is nothing we cannot accomplish. A formal Press Release announcing the relationship along with the first success story resulting from the joint relationship will be forthcoming.
I am pleased to share that my Alma mater, London Southbank University has bestowed the honor of naming me its inaugural alumnus of the month. I enjoyed my time at LSBU very much and am grateful to my professors there.
We are excited that Tectrade, a key supplier of advanced technology solutions for leading organizations in the United Kingdom and a IBM Premier Business Partner has recently joined the Tarmin OverDrive Program and will be offering the Tarmin GridBank and IBM Storage joint solution.
I recently enjoyed participating in a lively session at Cass Business School organised by London New Finance on the topic of Big Data Innovation in Finance. With Big Data use cases evolving and the enormous potential for profits self evident, Tarmin GridBank is perfectly positioned to bring unique value to this key market.
Respected analyst firm, 451 Group has written a favorable review of Tarmin. There is clearly interest in our vision of unified unstructured data management in the market given the depth of the piece and the independent nature of the relationship between Tarmin and 451 Group. I am pleased to see that leading technology analysts find sharing the Tarmin story with their subscriber members to be worthwhile and look forward to continued recognition and success.
GridBank was recently recognized by Enterprise Storage Forum. We thank ESF for their independent acknowledgement of our achievement and commitment to innovation in the cloud storage field and look forward to delighting the press community in the coming year.
We are proud to have been invited to the annual IBM PartnerWorld Leadership Conference later this month in Las Vegas. I will be meeting with key influencers both from IBM and IBM partners in this 4 days long event including a VIP dinner with Rod Adkins, the IBM Senior Vice President of the IBM Systems and Technology Group that encompasses IBM’s storage, server, semiconductor and systems software businesses which together generated over $19 Billion in revenues in 2011. I expect to build upon the enthusiasm that we have succeeded in creating within IBM and its partner ecosystem and lay groundwork for continued success for many years to come working with IBM and their global partner community.
I have been invited to participate at the upcoming CIO Event, an annual 2 day executive event that attracts leading CIOs from global organizations to learn from their peers and industry thought leaders to share insights and best practices on a range of IT focused topics. Held this year outside of London, I will be conducting a panel workshop on my area of expertise, management of globally dispersed unstructured data via grid architectures. In addition, I have been scheduled for a number of personal meetings with CIOs who have specific data management requirements from which we hope to further build upon on current solid sales pipeline.
