Shahbaz Ali
Tarmin Technologies, Ltd.
Shahbaz Ali spearheads all Tarmin Technologies© operations. Goal-Oriented Executive and seasoned entrepreneur with demonstrated success, Shahbaz has over 16 years of experience in bringing ground breaking technology solutions to new markets. Prior to founding Tarmin, Shahbaz served as Technical Director for Secure Banking Systems at Mondex (acquired by MasterCard International) where he led the development of Mondex’s e-purse technology and Loyalty programs.
Later at MasterCard he was responsible for overall digital content and archiving strategy and led the customer transactional content preservation initiative. Other Past experience includes management positions with Invensys Corporation, Lucent Technologies, Avaya Communications, Marconi and Aspect Communications. Shahbaz has completed the key part of the Industrial PhD Program and is a first class graduate in Software Engineering from Southbank University of London.
Boyd Mulvey

Boyd Mulvey is co-founder and Chief Executive of CREATE, a venture capital company which invests in and assists the growth of businesses in the East of England. CREATE manages the CREATE East of England Fund, a regionally based £20 million fund which invests in early stage high growth and smaller established companies based in the East of England.
Boyd has 15 years of experience in providing strategic and financial advice at board level in both leading international and smaller UK based businesses. Boyd has worked at board level in leading financial institutions including CSFP (now CSFB) and UBS and has helped finance and structure corporate transactions involving many publicly listed UK companies. Boyd has advised on the listing (IPO) of many UK companies including the first ever flotation on TechMARK (the UK’s leading technology index). Boyd has extensive UK corporate finance experience covering fund raisings, mergers, acquisitions, de-listings and structured finance transactions.
Boyd studied finance and economics at the University of Lethbridge, Canada.
Ed Stacey
IQ Capital Partners
Ed Stacey has worked in the early stage, technology-based, venture capital sector for over ten years. He is a founder partner of IQ Capital Partners, which manages the £25m IQ Capital Fund and a couple of smaller seed funds.
He jointly founded Venture Technologies Limited in 1997, a fund which achieved a number of highly successful exits, included three flotations, (including Autonomy, the first technology company on EASDAQ), a secondary purchase, and led to a number of trade sales including to Sun Microsystems and Veritas Inc... Previously he worked in technology and management consulting in Cambridge, after starting his career in the electronics industry.
Ajay Vohora

Ajay started his career developing network protocols for Microsoft before joining a venture backed start-up in the telecommunications sector developing Dense Wave Division Multiplexing sub-systems before it was sold in 2003.
At Cambridge based software start-up Library House, Ajay managed the delivery of products and outsourced research for the Telecommunications Media Technology (TMT) sector for venture capital, private equity and corporate venturing fund mangers in Europe and United States.
At CREATE, Ajay uses his broad business and technology background to identify new investments, and works closely with portfolio companies at CREATE.
Ajay holds a degrees in Computer Science (First Class), Engineering and Corporate Strategy. During his doctoral studies at University of Cambridge, Ajay has co-authored and edited publications for academic journals, government departments and industry bodies including the Bank of England, DTI, HM Treasury and the BVCA.
