Survey of CIO’s Reveals Top Priorities and Areas of Interest for 2012
Silicon Valley, Calif. (November 16, 2011) —Tarmin, Inc. a leading software developer focused on addressing key storage and management pain points for data driven organizations has conducted a survey of North American CIO’s and titled, “Managing Data at Scale.” Survey respondents were asked about their current data management challenges and plans for addressing such in 2012.
Survey Highlights:
- Nearly 8 in 10 CIO’s feel Unprepared to adequately address current data management challenges.
- Only 3 in 10 CIO’s rate themselves as “very confident” that their current IT security is sufficient.
- All respondents are currently or have plans to evaluate Cloud storage in the next 14 months.
Consisting of 25 questions, the survey revealed that CIO’s are concerned with a range of matters, including managing costs, ensuring system scalability, accessibility and security.
