GridBank Architecture
In GridBank, Tarmin has delivered a fully modular architecture, designed from the ground up to be scalable, high performance and highly available. Comprising a Global Namespace for file system virtualization access to the GridBank grid, an Elastic Metabase repository of metadata and Storage Pool Virtualization for physical connectivity. It is deployed into a GridBank Server Grid consisting of GridBank Controllers and Processors, which connects GridBank Storage Virtual Pools and Clouds to third party application servers, clients and GridBank Management Tools.
