Lucr will employ Tarmin GridBank solutions to address the entirety of unstructured data management requirements to organizations in the United Kingdom, with focus on creating big data, scale-out storage and cloud storage solutions. Data Defined Storage unites application, information and storage tiers into a single data centric architecture, allowing organizations to extract value from data to gain market intelligence, increase efficiencies, optimize storage and transition data to the cloud.

“Lucr’s success in providing private and public cloud infrastructures for organizations is based on the premise that business data and processes are key, rather than the platform itself. A platform should support the goals of an organization, not be a goal in and of itself,” said Glyn Bowden, founder and CEO of Lucr Ltd. “Tarmin shares this philosophy and its GridBank Data Management Platform is built on the foundation of Data Defined Storage. Employing cloud storage solutions that adapt to data requirements as they change over time allows us to focus on providing data driven business services that aid and assist organizations with achieving their objectives.”

“Our partnership with Lucr will help Tarmin meet current customer demand for Data Define Storage solutions, as well as extend our reach to new customers and markets in the UK,” said Shahbaz Ali, president and CEO of Tarmin. “We are pleased Lucr has joined our growing ecosystem of Data Defined Storage providers, and we look forward to working with them to help drive the success of customers throughout the U.K.”

Tarmin is actively signing new channel partners and is committed to providing them with the greatest possible support through the award winning Tarmin OverDrive Program; designed to grow business, market reach and profitability through access to the next generation Data Defined Storage solution, Tarmin GridBank. GridBank enables partners to address today’s key unstructured data challenges with one software solution and deliver broader functionalities to existing customers and to new market opportunities.
